Miss United Crown of America is a pageant platform that celebrates and honors purpose, confidence, and leadership in women and girls from the age of four and up. This platform elevates the aspects of character that help shape a more beautiful society that others can thrive in.

Ms. Southern States 2025 was selected to speak at the Midlands Women's Day Convention in Columbia, SC. She shared the following five tips to improve and maintain your mental health:

1. Do something new to creative new and positive experiences to heal from painful experiences.

2. Make a routine of resting. If you don't get adequate rest, your body will do it for you.

3. Change your circle, change your setting. Keep only those who will genuinely support you and encourage you in your space.

4. Maintain or improve your diet. Beware of foods and drinks that may affect your mental health.

5. Balance your priorities. Don't try to do everything in one day. Do what you can and allow everything to fall into place.

Ms. Southern States 2025 completed the following projects during her reign:

  • Collaborated with Heart 2 Hands CLT to feed those in need in Charlotte, NC
  • Donated gently used items to Goodwill
  • Donated school supplies to 803 Day event in Blythewood, SC
  • Helped raise money to combat hunger in America

Ms. Southern States 2025 advocated for mental health awareness in the following ways during her reign:

  • She walked in-person at a mental health walk in Charlotte, NC
  • She created content on social media to teach mental resilience to the public
  • She participated in a virtual suicide prevention walk

Ms. Southern States 2025 also made other special appearances during her reign including:

  • Honoring fallen veterans at a memorial day service held at St. John's Baptist Church and Wellness Center in Hopkins, SC.
  • Promoting the Miss United Crown of America brand at a Garden Tea Party.
  • Assisted  with the crowning of the Juneteenth royal court at the Gospel Explosion and Celebration in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Dr. Chanell exceptionally demonstrated the core principles of the Miss United Crown of America platform which are leadership, presence, and purpose.
